Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi Prefecture is a magnificent place to witness the airy purple, mauve and delicate Fuji.Wisteria is called Fuji in Japanese and holds prevalence in Japanese tradition. It grows most commonly in vine form, producing lovely, fragrant flowers.
The park has more than 350 fuji flowers blooming in spring ranging in all shades of blue, lavender and red-violet. The most iconic displays are the Great Miracle Wisteria and the Wisteria Tunnel.
